Plans underway to convert vacant space to a self storage facility to be managed by and branded CubeSmart

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Vertical Fields Capital LLC and Macritchie Storage LLC, through an affiliate, recently acquired 4325 Frontage Road in Oak Forest, Illinois, to convert the vacant manufacturing space into a self storage facility.

“This acquisition allows us to reposition and improve an underutilized building, add self storage capacity to meet the increasing demand in Oak Forest, Illinois, and create additional jobs for its residents,” said Frederick McCarthy, Founder and Managing Member at Vertical Fields Capital. “Additionally, we are excited that this will be our second facility managed by and branded CubeSmart in the greater Chicago market.”

Initial plans include converting the approximate 76,460 gross square foot space into more than 62,000 net rentable square feet of self storage. Early projections indicate there is ample demand for self storage units, particularly climate-controlled, in the Oak Forest market.

Warehouse is poised to be converted into self-storage property

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Vertical Fields Capital LLC and Macritchie Storage LLC announced today that they, through an affiliate, acquired 265 Hayward Avenue in Rochester, New York, to convert the warehouse property into a self storage facility. The approximate 63,800 gross square foot property will be managed by Storage Asset Management and branded as Rochester Self Storage (www.rochesternyselfstorage.com).
