Rochester, NY

In July 2014, we acquired a mismanaged and under-utilized warehouse located at 14 Railroad St in Rochester, New York. The building is well located on a key artery into downtown Rochester and situated on one of two roads that serve the popular Rochester Public Market.

The Phase 1 renovations included tripling the self-storage space to approximately 45,700 net rentable square feet, increasing the curb appeal and bringing in a national, non-branded management company.
Based on the initial success, we refinanced the property with a senior loan to fund further expansion and improvements. Additionally, we changed brands and managers to Life Storage.

In 2020, we successfully sold the Rochester property.
