Newark, NJ

In January 2016, we acquired a six-story warehouse at 365 Park Ave in Newark, NJ, that previously served as bulk warehousing space and storage for deployed military personnel. The building is well-located on a major road in the heart of multiple residential and multifamily communities. Additionally, the site has easy access to the Garden State Parkway, I-280 and the wealthy, densely populated suburbs of northern New Jersey.

For Phase 1, we converted the existing 54,300 gross square foot building into 530 climate-controlled self-storage units. We opened in May 2022 branded and managed by CubeSmart.

A future Phase 2 will include building over 40,000 gross square feet of Generation 3 self-storage on the lot immediately adjacent to the exiting building.
